Condition Check
Walk through a home or a car you rent when you take it over and again when you hand it back. Photograph each room or side, check the list of what the photos showed, and keep a dated record of both - with the differences between them, each with its two photos side by side.
Condition Check explained 🔰
- It keeps a dated record of a home or a car you rent - one walk-through when you take it over and one when you hand it back - so you can show what was already there.
- You enter its address, or a few words that name the car, the day you took it over and the day you hand it back. Then, for each walk-through, the rooms or sides you photograph - up to 16.
- For each room or side you choose up to 3 photos. What they show is listed - each thing, how many and any marks seen on it, with the photo it was seen in when the reading names one - up to 30 things a room. The photos are read twice; a row the two readings differ on is marked "Check this one", and you confirm it before you can save.
- Every row is yours: you check it, correct it, add what the photos missed or take out what is wrong. Your record changes only when you save.
- Your photos are kept with your record, so each room at handover and at return shows side by side. A photo no row of your record names anymore is usually deleted when you save; removing your record deletes every photo kept with it, and so does deleting your account.
- Once both walk-throughs are saved, the differences show - a thing on one list and not the other, a count that changed, marks at return the handover list did not name, a room with no list at return - each with both photos. The lists are what your photos showed and what you kept, not an inspection: look over both yourself.
- Your record downloads as a PDF you can send yourself - its lists and the differences; each photo is yours to save from the page. Nothing is sent to a landlord or a rental company by this loop.
- How often: each day a run looks at your record and reminds you of a walk-through on its day - the return walk-through 3 days ahead too - while it is not saved. Saving never brings a run sooner than 6 hours after the last one started.
- Run now starts a run by hand, once a day across all your loops, and only while none of them is in the middle of a run. Your loops also share a spending limit; a run it holds back waits for its next turn.
- If 3 runs in a row fail, the loop pauses. Resume starts it again.
- A daily email sums up what your loops found - one email a day, and only on a day one of them found something. It is on until you switch it off - on a loop's page once the loop is part of your plan, or, if your plan includes Loops, on your dashboard.
- To stop it, use Remove your record. Its past runs are kept.
