Job Match

Tell it what you are looking for. Each day it reads the new posts on EDM Jobs and tells you of the ones that fit.

Job Match explained 🔰
  • It reads the new job posts on EDM Jobs and tells you of those that fit what you are looking for.
  • You enter one search: up to 5 words or phrases, such as a job title or a skill, the job types you want, remote work or a city or both, and a field if you like. With Fill from my Talent Profile, the details of your own profile go into the form for you to check.
  • Each run reads the posts that went up since the last run - those of the last a week on a first run or after you change your search - never your own. A post goes on when one of your words is in its title, summary or skills and its type, place and field suit your search; each such post is then checked against what you are looking for. Up to 10 are told a run, each once, and any more wait for the next.
  • What it tells: each post with its company, place, job types, when it went up, the start of its summary and the employer's page when the post gives one.
  • How often: a new or changed search runs at the next hourly run if your limits allow it, then once a day. Saving never brings a run sooner than 6 hours after the last one started.
  • Run now starts a run by hand, once a day across all your loops, and only while none of them is in the middle of a run. Your loops also share a spending limit; a run it holds back waits for its next turn.
  • If 3 runs in a row fail, the loop pauses. Resume starts it again.
  • A daily email sums up what your loops found - one email a day, and only on a day one of them found something. It is on until you switch it off - on a loop's page once the loop is part of your plan, or, if your plan includes Loops, on your dashboard.
  • What it does not do: apply anywhere for you or get in touch with an employer. You read the post and decide.
  • To stop it, use Remove your search. Its past runs are kept.
