Price Watch
Give the pages of the products you want and the price you would pay. Each day a run reads each page, records its price, and tells you when one reaches your target.
Price Watch explained 🔰
- It watches the prices of up to 10 products you want, and tells you when one is at or under the price you would pay.
- You enter each product's name, the public web address of its page in the shop, and your price in dollars.
- Each run reads every page and takes its price from the details the shop itself puts on the page to state it - never from a guess at its text. A page whose details state no price is shown as having none, and a price in a currency other than dollars is listed but not held against yours. A chart shows each product's price run by run.
- A price at or under yours is told once, and again only after it went back above your price and came down again. A new price of yours for a product is told once when the shop's price reaches it.
- How often: a new or changed product is read at the next hourly run if your limits allow it, then once a day. Saving never brings a run sooner than 6 hours after the last one started.
- Run now starts a run by hand, once a day across all your loops, and only while none of them is in the middle of a run. Your loops also share a spending limit; a run it holds back waits for its next turn.
- If 3 runs in a row fail, the loop pauses. Resume starts it again.
- A daily email sums up what your loops found - one email a day, and only on a day one of them found something. It is on until you switch it off - on a loop's page once the loop is part of your plan, or, if your plan includes Loops, on your dashboard.
- What it does not do: buy anything. A shop can change a price at any time, so look at its page before you order.
- To stop it, use Remove your products. Its past runs are kept.
