Retention Guard

See which of your customers are slipping away - from when each last bought, how often they usually buy and whether their last payment went through - and what to do about each.

Retention Guard explained 🔰
  • It checks your customers - up to 50, each with the day they last bought, how often they usually buy, and a tick when their last payment failed.
  • You get where each one stands: late once more time has passed than their usual gap, gone quiet after 3 of their usual gaps, and a failed payment first of all - the most urgent at the top, each with a next step.
  • Where EDM can help: a payment reminder for what a customer owes, a watch on the competitors a customer gone quiet may have moved to, and invitations to review your business sent to every customer alike - each shown only once that loop is open.
  • Keep your list under the check and it is checked again once a week - the same check, with the same next steps - and you are told how many customers newly need a step, never who.
  • How often: a list you save is first read at the next hourly run if your limits allow it, then once a week. Saving never brings a run sooner than 6 hours after the last one started.
  • Run now checks your list by hand, once a day across all your loops, and only while none of them is in the middle of a run. If 3 checks in a row do not finish, the list pauses, and saving it again starts it over. To stop it, remove your list; what earlier checks found is kept.
  • Who sees it: nobody but you. The check above compares the days on your own device and sends or saves nothing. A list you keep is saved with your account and sent to no other service. A name may be up to 80 characters long.
  • What it does not do: guess who will leave, write to your customers, or keep what you type in the check above.
Your customers

Up to 50 customers, each with the day they last bought and how often they usually do. A first name or a label is enough.

Nothing you type here leaves your browser or is kept - close the page and it is gone. No account needed.

Keep your customers

Keep your list here and Retention Guard checks it again every week - the same check as above - and tells you when a customer newly needs a step from you. Only you see your list.
