Baby Weeks

Tell Baby Weeks your due date, or your baby's birthday. Each week it tells you what this week of a pregnancy or of a first year usually brings, and counts down to your due date.

Baby Weeks explained 🔰
  • It tells you each week what this week of a pregnancy, or of a baby's first year, usually brings - in general terms, as it is for most families.
  • You enter your due date, or your baby's birthday - nothing else. No health question is asked.
  • The week is worked out from your date: a pregnancy counted as 40 weeks to the due date, and told until 2 weeks past it; a baby's age in whole weeks, for the first 52 weeks. Only the week's number is used to write the note - never your date.
  • Each run writes this week's note once a week, or sooner when you change your date; on the other days nothing new is written, and your page counts down to your due date.
  • How often: once a day. A new or changed date is taken up at the next hourly run if your limits allow it. Saving never brings a run sooner than 6 hours after the last one started.
  • Run now starts a run by hand, once a day across all your loops, and only while none of them is in the middle of a run. Your loops also share a spending limit; a run it holds back waits for its next turn.
  • If 3 runs in a row fail, the loop pauses. Resume starts it again.
  • A daily email sums up what your loops found - one email a day, and only on a day one of them found something. It is on until you switch it off - on a loop's page once the loop is part of your plan, or, if your plan includes Loops, on your dashboard.
  • What it does not do: give medical advice. A note that names a medicine, a condition or a risk is left out before you see it. Your midwife or doctor knows your case.
  • To stop it, use Remove your Baby Weeks. Your date is deleted at once and nothing is told again. Its past runs are deleted with it, and each is kept 90 days at most.
What week am I in?

Your due date gives the week of your pregnancy and the days left to it; your baby's birthday gives their age in weeks of the first year.

Baby Weeks gives general information, never medical advice - your midwife or doctor knows your case. If something worries you, call them; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.
